Our Birdie originated as a cabinet knob in our Show Stopper collection, a group of knobs that were impressive in size, intricate in form and loaded with details.		Our Show Stopper Birdie knob 2.5 in. diameter and  3 in. projection had a black faceted cabochon, a   stunning accent with shiny black lacquer surfaces.

When our Birdie made its debut in our line of drapery hardware, it took the form of finials and tiebacks in various sizes,and even a banister.ball newel cap. It became a favorite for embellishing many of our furniture pieces including the Barcelona dresser and Ritz media cabinet.
