Wood Stain + Paint Finish + Modern Form = The Cubee Lamp

It's pretty much a given that all of our jewel tone colors look beautiful with white. It offers a perfect contrast that makes the colors more vivid and dramatic. This was the concept behind our newest lamp design that has a tiered form where our paint finishes alternate with a white pickled wood stain. The feeling is fresh, modern and accentuates today's passion for greenery - the fashionable Pantone color pick for 2017.  

We wanted to see how the new Cubee looked with 3 different shade styles, each having their own unique structure and individual appeal. 

Cubee with a magnificent box shade accentuates the square shape and the Dupioni silk adds more texture to the mix with it's slubby surface. 

The hardback drum shade is covered with silk in a vibrant copper that gives Cubee a retro vibe. 

Then there's a first time for everything. Typically our preference is to choose a colorful shade. But we couldn't resist the temptation to try out this white hardback drum shade. In this case the linen adds another interesting texture to the overall design.
