Sleeping on a Bed of Roses...Truly!

Imagine! How dreamy is this? 

Our Barcelona low footboard bed gets a spring time color scheme with shades of pink, lilac, periwinkle, and wispy strokes of minty green. The artwork focuses on a stylized burst of roses popping up on the bedposts, center panels and the headboard medallion. The bed is a bespoke project for a designer who was keen on our hand painted Barcelona queen size bed for a young girl's room. Her options for the artwork motif included our scrolly pattern, paisleys or roses. Her choice was inevitably spot on. The young girl who will be sleeping in this bed is named...you guessed it "Rose".  

Like a breath of spring air

The designer had already chosen the bedding, a soft lilac print of fanciful creatures on a creamy background. The accent pillows used plaids and checks in an array of pinks and lavender. In determining the color placement, the light green panels on the headboard and footboard seemed the perfect complementary backdrop for the sweet pinks and purples in the duvet and throw pillows, while the roses added sharp contrast and excitement to the entire ensemble. 

Fit for a Princess

The finials are surely the crowning touch on this bed with sparkling diamond like crystals and a painted rose necklace that encircles the girth of each finial.
